Complex Needs Support Worker•    Location: Great Yarmouth•    Salary: £12.82 - £14.50•    Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday 0830 - 1530)We are seeking an experienced Support Worker with a passion for working with children who have complex needs. Join our outstanding team at Complex Needs School, where you will support children aged 4 to 11 with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and sensory impairments. You will play a key role in providing a personalised and engaging curriculum and supporting the children’s physical, emotional, and social development.

Day to day of the role:•    Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO.•    Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to children with complex needs.•    Utilize specialist equipment and resources to enhance learning and communication.•    Assist with personal care, feeding, and medical needs as required.•    Monitor and document the children’s progress and milestones.•    Communicate with parents, carers, and other professionals involved in the children’s care.•    Participate in relevant training and professional development meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in supporting children with SEN, or willingness to undertake training.•    Experience with children with complex needs, or a strong desire to work in this area.•    A positive, adaptable approach to meeting the needs of children.•    A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.•    A DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
