Residential Support Worker - Sleep-In (No Weekends or School Holidays)•    Location: Great Yarmouth•    Salary: £14.50 - £16.50 per hour.•    Job Type: Full-timeWe are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team, providing overnight support to young people in a residential setting. Day to day of the role:•    Provide care and support to youth in a residential environment.•    Create a safe and nurturing space that supports the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.•    Assist with the implementation of individualized care plans, focusing on goal setting and skill development.•    Encourage participation in educational, recreational, and life skills programs.•    Build positive relationships with youth and their families, involving them in the care process.•    Administer medication as needed and maintain accurate records.•    Work with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and meet the needs of each resident.•    Respond to crisis situations and maintain the safety and security of residents.•    Serve as a positive role model and mentor, fostering independence and empowering youth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•    Experience working with youth in a residential or similar setting is highly desirable.•    Understanding of the developmental needs and challenges faced by young people.•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.•    Teamwork abilities and the capacity to work independently as needed.•    Flexibility to work sleep-in and occasional night shifts.•    Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.•    Knowledge of youth care legislation and best practices.
