Partnered with a leading FMCG business based in Greenford, I am searching for a PQ Financial Accountant on a full time permanent basis. They operate to a hybrid working model with only 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Key responsibilties of this role include:
* Lead the Overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking and reporting processes * Provide regular and ad hoc analysis on Overhead spends to key stakeholders * Drive and provide financial support on all Overhead related projects * Continually look for and challenge ways of reducing Overhead costs * Ensure all Supply Co accounting and reporting is timely, complete and accurate * Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliations * Work with the Tax and other finance teams to ensure Intrastat, tax and other relevant external financial reporting is timely and accurate * Work with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate processes are being followed and KPIs achieved for all SSC work associated with your areas of responsibility * Identify and drive opportunities to transfer further work to the Shared Service team * Ensure schedule of authority (SOAs) limits and SAP release strategies are up-to-date and fit-for-purpose * Support the UK Finance Manager on financial audits, finance projects and other ad hoc work on a need basis
Ideal person for this role:
- Working towards a formal accounting qualification (ideally ACCA)
- At least 2-3 years experience in a finance related role
- Experience working in an FMCG or Manufacturing setting would be highly desirable, but not essential.
- Experience using SAP would be highly desirable but not essential
