Are you ready to make a significant impact in finance? Our client, a privately owned higher education provider seek a dynamic Management Accountant to join the finance team. This role is a result of the significant growth they have had over the last few years.

Based at the office in Greenford 5 days per week, this is a great opportunity perhaps for somebody local looking to progress their career in management accounts or if you are further afield the closest stations are Greenford and Sudbury Hill Tube Stations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial records.
  • Foster effective relationships within the finance team and other departments.
  • Process journals, review GL postings, investigate variances, and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Develop annual budgets and forecasts, understanding key drivers.
  • Assist with audits and address queries.
  • Provide reports and analysis as needed.
  • Enhance data quality and reporting systems.
  • Step in for the Finance Business Partner when required.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Finance qualification CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Knowledge of finance, month-end processes, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to prioritise a heavy workload.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Motivation to build and maintain relationships.
