We’re looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team at the Greene King site in Greenford. If you’re passionate about road safety and enjoy teaching, we want you to help guide our drivers towards excellence. Plus, with a Monday to Friday shift pattern, you’ll enjoy your weekends free to recharge!

You’ll join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday. Start times will vary between the hours of 04:00 – 12:00, so some flexibility will be required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £41,500.00 per annum (£23.06 per hour) and 33 annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Assess candidates’ driving capability during the recruitment process, and developing drivers’ skills throughout their careers
  • Liaise with the key stakeholders, such as Transport Managers, Transport Planners, and Operations Desk Staff Coordinators as necessary to maximise the benefits of HGV driver training
  • Deliver Driver CPC training
  • Design and maintain training materials and records

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Excellent driving skills and in-depth knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification
  • Experience of delivering training to drivers
  • PTLLS Qualified (desirable), other train the trainer qualifications may be accepted
  • An ability to adapt your teaching style to accommodate each learner
  • A valid C+E LGV Driving Licence is essential
