Our client is a not for-profit training provider, with an excellent reputation. They work with apprentices from all over the UK working with many high profile clients. They have gained ISO, Matrix and IIP accreditations. They have 60 staff.
The Job:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Vocational Specialist Trainer and this will be to deliver apprenticeship training in Bus and Coach Engineering. This is a new role due to grow and in this role you will be responsible for delivering both practical and theoretical training to apprentices, with regular 8-10 week progress reviews. The role involves monitoring learner progress, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the successful delivery of apprenticeship standards. In this role you will work closely with the Functional Skills team, liaise with Account Managers, and act as an ambassador for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and assessments to apprentices.
- Conduct progress reviews every 8-10 weeks in line with caseload.
- Monitor off-the-job training and collaborate with other teams to ensure learners' progress.
- Maintain and develop lesson plans and teaching resources.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Safeguarding, and Equal Opportunities policies
The Person:
For this role our client is looking for someone who has gained the Bus and Coach Engineering Technician and has gained experience in delivering vocational training. You’ll also need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and be flexible.
Salary:
£40-45,000
