Description
- Manage and collect debts from company debtors
- Process payments and refunds
- Conduct credit checks on new customers
- Resolve client discrepancies and short payments
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
- Regularly report on collection activity and debtor status
- Ensure compliance with processes and policies
- Support the accounting team with other ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Credit Control professional should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- A strong background in the retail industry
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
