Mechanical Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for vehicle technician’s or similar looking to move into a new industry as excellent training is available.

The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, vehicles, motorbikes or similar equipment. No minimum qualifications are required and full training will be given.

You’ll be based client’s site in Greenford where you’ll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklift trucks, approximately 50 in total. It’s a relatively new fleet consisting of approximately 50 trucks – counterbalance, reach trucks etc. You’ll order any spares when needed and communicate progress.

The Mechanical Technician role in brief:
• Diagnose, fault find and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at the customer site.
• Order spares when necessary.

The Mechanical Technician Person Required:
• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars, motorbikes or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills
• IT literate
