Ealing – Senior Systems Engineer – £55-65k - Hyrbid working


This is a role with one of our best clients who work within battery and telemetry technology and specialise within the field of electric and hybrid vehicles. They are now looking to add to their controls engineering team within R&D and are looking for an engineer who is experienced within embedded control systems and the automotive industry.


Main Duties:
+ Work on the integration of new components and systems
+ Matlab/Simulink code generation onto embedded controllers
+ Testing of control algorithms and system logic and simulate system design
+ Undergo data analysis to improve system control software


Skills Needed:
+ Experience developing embedded controls for the automotive field (ideally for hybrid or electric vehicles)
+ Proficient in Matlab/Simulink or equivalent tool chain
+ Experience within C/C++ for embedded applications
+ Experience with automotive CAN tools

Further information:
This role is based in West London, but they do have hybrid options. Candidates should be expected to come into the office for 2 or 3 days depending on your preference, however, you should be either willing to relocate to a commutable distance of the office or be commutable.


This role will also require occasional travel which may be to the USA or to Scotland to work on customer sites. This is typically a 2 week period once or twice a year maximum.
