Commercial Gas Engineer
Red Rock consultants are currently working with a Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractor.
They are seeking a qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.The role primarily involves reactive and maintenance service work on a variety of commercial properties.
This is a mobile position, covering regions around the London area with paid door-to-door travel
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems including boilers, burners, and other gas appliances in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial heating, ventilation, and gas systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs on gas systems in commercial properties.
- Ensure all gas systems are safe and compliant with current regulations.
- Be available for emergency call-outs as required, on a rota basis (1/8).
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 3-5 year’s experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer, working in reactive and maintenance roles.
- Proven experience working with commercial gas systems, boilers, heating systems, and associated equipment.
- Gas Safe registered with commercial qualifications (CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, CDGA1, TPCP1, CoDNCO1 or equivalent).
- Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications.
