Teach Plus are currently working with a warm and friendly, 2-form entry, primary school located in Greenford, Ealing who are seeking a Year 5 Class Teacher to join them ASAP, to take on full classroom responsibilities until the end of the academic year.

The school has a welcoming, family community feel where children are excited to come to school and learn, the behaviour across the school is exceptional. Senior leaders set high expectations for all pupils and staff and are always striving to improve the school. Teachers work together to identify areas of improvement in teaching and learning, they use ongoing discussions, reflection, and input to track and improve progress.

As a Year 5 Class Teacher you will be required to:

  • Take on full Year 5 Class Teacher responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking and assessments
  • Plan and deliver lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Maintain consistent relationships with parents surrounding their academic progression
  • Attend meetings and INSET days to further support the internal development of the school

The ideal candidate for the Year 5 Class Teacher role will have:

  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Recent KS2 (Year 5 Class Teacher or similar) experience, either within student placements or responsible for your own class
  • A strong work ethic who is willing to commit until the end of the academic year
  • UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
