Full time driver required in the Greenford area - Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm 45 Hours per week with weekly pay @ £13.50 per hour.
Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and commercial driving experience.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
Requirements:- Valid driver's license- Proven experience as a commercial driver or van driver- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
