An opportunity has arisen for a Principal Traffic Order Maker to join a busy client in London. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £250 - £300 per day, umbrella.  Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key responsibilities:
·The post involves responsibility for making all types of traffic management orders together with the associated notices and statutory consultation exercises.
·To work as part of the Transportation team in accordance with statutory requirements and in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
·Identify and evaluate potential operational issues with traffic restrictions for schemes and  projects in relation to the maintenance and / or development of infrastructure, and propose remedial measures and specifications for prioritisation within the overall programme of works
 
About you:
You will be required to have experience in traffic order making within a local authority
