Maintenance Technician

My client require a Maintenance Technician on theDartford River Crossing, SO2 tunnels and the Queen Elizabeth Bridge over the River Thames. This is a 24/7 operation.
The team works with big pumps and motors on the fan ventilation, pump rooms and systems, experienceof this is essential.

• commercial/industrial background is a necessity
• HV system experience, 11KV experience and above is critical (over 11000 volts)
• Knowledge and experience of generators and switchgear to 11KV
• Fault finding using schematic drawings.
• All round experience in Electrical Maintenance
• Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
• Ability to carry out electrical installation work to current legislation
• Power stations/Rial experience would suit this type of role who have dealt with HV

Extra training can be provided via the Sector Scheme. Wiring Regs 18th Edition can be completed with the client but they would need the basics in order to be successful for the role.

The rate will increase to 22.73 after 3 months

This role is 24/7 operationalproject, shiftswill be as below.
2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (12 hour shifts) 6 till 6 rotational shifts
