Maintenance Technician (Electronics)
My client require a Maintenance Technician working on the Dartford Tunnel and Crossing.
This is a very varied role, but will mainly be dealing with low voltage kitting equipment, fibre opticcables and the system/software used at the Traffic Management Cell for the Dartford Tunnel whichuses traffic signals to manage the flow of traffic through the tunnels and prevent queuing.The signals cycle from green to red, and the operators can adjust the cycle time to achieve the desired level of metering, the Technicians will be heavily involved with the system for this operation.

Electronicsengineer experience (commercial background), British Telecom experiencewould be ideal and then they will be morphed into this role as it is extremelyvaried.
This is a 24/7 operational project, shifts will be as below.
2 days, 2 nights, 4 off (12 hour shifts) 6 till 6 rotational shifts
After 3 months the rate will increase to 22.73 / hour
