Finance Executive

I'm seeking an experience Finance professional to join a well-known organisation in the hospitality sector. Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily financial functions of the organisation. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting information across sales and purchase transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial reporting.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Reconciling income and expenditure.
  • Managing all income and expenditure across the organisation, including managing sales and purchase invoices.
  • Overseeing the weekly processing of payments and invoices submitted to the organisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including liaising with and overseeing preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Responsible for financial reporting in conjunction with the Finance Director, including consolidation of financial statements and supporting delivery of regular management accounts and budgets.
  • Supporting month-end processes to ensure accurate and timely closure as well as assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Developing a robust internal controls environment.
  • Ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in financial management in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
