The Role: As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, the successful candidate will collaborate with maintenance technicians and external contractors to monitor and maintain on-site equipment. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Ensuring continuous operation by adhering to the preventative maintenance schedule and addressing machinery breakdowns.
  • Maintenance Schedules: Creating and implementing maintenance and servicing schedules.
  • Problem Solving: Applying engineering expertise to solve problems as they arise.
  • Equipment Installation: Overseeing the installation of new equipment.
  • Facility Maintenance: Managing the maintenance work on buildings and facilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Working continually in line with the preventative maintenance schedule and addressing machinery breakdowns.
  • Creating and undertaking maintenance and servicing schedules.
  • Solving engineering problems as required.
  • Overseeing the installation of new equipment.
  • Managing required maintenance work on buildings and facilities.

The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree, diploma, or similar qualification in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical.
  • Significant experience in a similar role within a similar industry.
  • A diverse skill set to maintain a broad scope of machinery.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A can-do attitude and hands-on approach, coupled with a desire to succeed.
