Your Role as an HLTA in KS2:

• Lead and deliver engaging lessons across KS2 in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring seamless learning.
• Provide tailored support to small groups or individual pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and prepare engaging activities for students.
• Offer targeted assistance to children with additional needs, following individual learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and maintain a productive classroom atmosphere.

What We're Looking For in an HLTA:

• Proven experience as an HLTA, particularly in a KS2 setting.
• HLTA qualification or equivalent training is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver pre-prepared lessons confidently.
• A proactive, adaptable, and compassionate approach to supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, staff, and families.
