Profile - - Mechanical Design Engineer
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing and evolving business in Cheltenham.
You will be responsible for conceptualising new product and systems as well as modifying and detailing existing systems for a rang of high profile clients.
Ideally you'll have some exposure and experience in machinery or automated system design, however other experiences will also be considered.
Duties - Mechanical Design Engineer
- Design and development of new and existing components/products.
- Conceptual Design as well as product modifications.
- Creation of both 3D models and 2D drawing.
- Develop site layout plans for installation phase.
- Creation of BOM to enable manufacture.
- Overseeing and contributing to projects from a management perspective.
- Dependant on project complexity, taking ownership of full projects.
Background - Mechanical Design Engineer
- Special purpose machinery design (Preferable)
- Experience with either Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
- Preferably HNC minimum in engineering discipline.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Full Driving licence
