A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced payroll leader, someone who would enjoy full ownership of the payroll function of a diverse and interesting group of companies, based in a lovely modern office and working for a prestigious employer, located 8 miles north of Carlisle, working alongside the Finance and HR teams.

A flexible 24 hours per week (between Monday - Friday) hours to fit around children in nursery, school, other family commitments or in search for work life balance. Job satisfaction is paramount, would you like to be the sole 'go to' payroll person, carrying out start to finish payroll, including calculations, deductions, bonuses, overtime, SMP, SSP for 250 staff (weekly and monthly paid). With the reassurance there is back up and trained staff at hand to cover your holidays.

The current incumbent is due to move into an internal role and will stay in post until a suitable replacement is appointed and provide full hand over.

Salary and benefits:

  • Salary region c£32,000 (FTE 40 hours)
  • Part time / 3 days (flexible on which days).
  • Holidays are 30 days + 1 for your birthday; inclusive of Bank Holidays.
