A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced payroll leader to take full ownership of the payroll function for a diverse group of companies located 8 miles north of Carlisle.
The role offers a flexible part-time schedule of 24 hours per week, allowing for a work-life balance that accommodates family commitments.
The position involves managing payroll for 250 staff, including calculations, deductions, and bonuses, with support available during holidays.
The salary for this role is approximately £32,000 (FTE for 40 hours), along with 30 days of holiday plus one for your birthday and additional benefits.
Candidates should have relevant experience in payroll management to be considered for this position.

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced payroll leader, someone who would enjoy full ownership of the payroll function ofa diverse and interesting group of companies, based in a lovely modern office and working fora prestigious employer, located 8 miles north of Carlisle, working alongside the Finance and HR teams.

A flexible 24 hours per week (between Monday -Friday) hourstofit around children in nursery, school, other family commitments or in search for work life balance. Job satisfaction is paramount, would you like to be the sole 'go to' payroll person, carrying outstart to finish payroll, including calculations, deductions, bonuses, overtime, SMP, SSPfor 250 staff (weekly and monthly paid). With the reassurance there is back up and trained staff at hand to coveryour holidays.

The current incumbent is due to move into aninternal role andwill stay in postuntil a suitable replacement is appointed and provide full hand over.

Salary and benefits:

Salary region c32,000 (FTE40 hours)
Part time /3 days (flexible on which days).
Holidays are 30 days + 1 for your birthday; inclusive of Bank Holidays.
