We are seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to lead the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences in this beautiful four star Hotel on the outskirts of Carlisle. The ideal candidate will possess strong excellent supervisory skills, and a passion for food safety and quality. As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations alongside a great management team, manage staff, and ensure that the guests receive outstanding service in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities of A Restaurant Supervisor

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of service staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain profits and efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills in customer service.
  • Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while maintaining quality.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with bar tending staff to create an appealing beverage menu that complements the dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organised environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
