The Gi Group are currently looking for warehouse operators to join our client, a well-known distribution company in GretnaThis is temporary, on-going work. If you are looking for a role that has a great, friendly working environment that includes working at a fast pace to meet targets and deadlines, this may be the job for you.Pay Rate: £12.72 per hourShift Patterns available:Monday to Friday 14:00 - 20:30 (0.5 hour break) = 30 hours per weekResponsibilities:* Unloading containers from incoming vehicles* Sort parcels to the correct dispatch location* Loading onto outgoing transport* Scanning and identification of parcel destination by code number or postcode * Placing mail into the correct wheeled container for dispatchImportant information:The operations take place in a loud, busy factory-style environment where you will be standing for long periods of time, lifting items up to 11kg in weight and pushing wheeled containers weighing up to 250kg. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential. Candidates also must be able to provide 2 years referencing all gaps in employment must be covered.If you are interested, please apply ASAP.
