Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Ensure clients' VAT records are accurate and compliant with HMRC regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and trial balances.
- Support in the preparation of year-end accounts for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
- Liaise with clients to ensure accurate data is provided for tax filings.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information.
