Management Accountant – Grimsby – Up to £45,000Chase & Holland are thrilled to be working with a fast growing manufacturing business, on the outskirts of Grimsby, who are currently seeking a forward-thinking and dedicated Management Accountant to join their excellent Finance team.  This is a brilliant opportunity and an exciting time to be joining this successful and innovative business as they continue to grow. This role will see you covering a variety of key finance factors which will be pivotal in contributing to the success and development of the company such as trading performance analysis, margin and manufacturing variance analysis.Benefits:

Management Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the Head of Finance to produce accurate weekly and monthly management accounts and MI reports of the trading performance of the business
  • Preparation of financial performance analysis that will be used by the Senior Leadership team, including profitability by customer, labour, productivity and overhead reporting
  • Analysing stock including voids, movements, wastage etc
  • Updating the financial overhead forecasts and final actuals monthly
  • Supporting in the development of new business reports and KPI’s following a recent implementation of the new ERP system
  • Updating the monthly management accounts with the new forecast
  • Attending meetings with department heads on actual to budget.
  • Preparing the month end rec file including maintenance of the fixed asset register, control account reconciliations etc
  • Reconciling the invoice discounting finance facility
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Actively mid to later stages studying CIMA/ACCA or newly qualified
  • Sound experience in management accounts and various financial analysis
  • Able to collaborate effectively with all areas of the business
  • Ability to coordinate own workload and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong IT skills and experience of using Excel (formulas, pivot tables and look ups)
