** Newly created role ** Management Accountant ** Study support **

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious management accountant to join a fast growing and successful business with a genuine family-oriented culture.

As a key member of the finance team, as Management Accountant, you will support the Financial Controller in the reporting on the trading performance of the business including variance analysis.

In this fast-paced and changing environment, you will also have the opportunity to play a leading role in the ERP finance system implementation project. With proficiency in Microsoft Excel, all that's needed is a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for weekly and monthly trading performance reporting including variances
  • Work closely with budget holders ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of financial information for all parts of the business
  • Involvement with the preparation of new business reports and dashboards together with the implementation of a new cloud-based ERP accounting system
  • Month end preparation and reconciliations
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, procurement and operations.

What we're looking for:

  • Part qualified, Finalist or Qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent
  • Experience in the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information
  • Strong MS Excel skills, any previous Cloud Accounting / ERP systems experience is also beneficial
  • A proactive and inquisitive communicator with meticulous attention to detail, able to liaise and collaborate with colleagues across the business.
