Semi Senior Accountant, Grimsby
The Role
Barber McLelland are working in Partnership with a regional and highly progressive accountancy firm. Due to continued growth, the business is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Grimsby office.
The firm provides a variety of services which includes Auditing, Statutory Accounts, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns, Management Accounts and Tax advisory
Due to the highly varied client base in which the firm support, the successful candidate will develop great exposure across all areas of accounting and business advisory experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
The role of Semi Senior Accountant will work within a highly experienced and supportive environment and will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of accounts for owner-managed limited companies, sole traders and partnerships to review stage, by processing data from the client’s records
- Preparation of personal and corporation tax computations
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Liaising directly with clients.
The successful applicant will have developed a minimum of 2 years experience working within the accountancy profession and will be level 3 AAT or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA, have good knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
Individuals who have developed suitable experience but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also encouraged.
Salary/Benefits
- Salary £24,000 - £28,000 (Depending on experience)

- 25 Days plus stats - Also option to purchase an additional 5 days
