We are recruiting for a Semi-Senior to Senior Accountant for a notable employer and firm of accountants based out of their office in Grimsby. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason, plus the firm are well-known as a good employer, offering flexibility, progression and competitive reward packages.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
  • Preparation of Personal Tax returns.
  • Managing the workload and meeting deadlines
  • General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients.
  • Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Dealing with customer queries.
  • Preparing Corporation & Self-Assessment Tax Returns and submission to HMRC.
  • Providing accounting support.
  • Providing administrative assistance.
  • Dealing with phone calls.
  • Any other related duties that may arise in the course of employment.
