About the Role
Our Recipe Dish site in Grimsby, a state-of-the-art CIP plant producing premium quality chilled soups and sauces. The site currently employs around 200 people, whilst turning over 30 million. As an Assistant Accountant, you will work within a team of four, supporting weekly and end-of-month accounts management, resolving invoice queries, and handling general ad hoc tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Posting journals
- Reporting
- Reviewing purchase orders
- Completing balance sheets
- Liaising with cost centre managers
About You
This entry-level role does not require previous accounting experience. We welcome candidates passionate about starting a career in this field who ideally already have their Level 2 and 3 AAT qualifications.

- Level 2 and 3 AAT Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and a "can-do" attitude
The role is based at our Grimsby site, with an expectation to be on-site full-time, Monday - Friday.
