Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £35,000 to £38,000
An opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an engineering plant based in Grimsby. The ideal candidate will be a mechanically biased technician or engineer who has experience of maintenance and repairs of large machinery. Installation and fault finding would also be great for this role.
The company have a great list of benefits including 25 days holiday + bank holidays and are hiring due to growth within the business.
What theyre looking for:
- Experience working in mechanical maintenance
- Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, servicing and repairs
- Engineering minded
- Fault finding and repairing experience
- Knowledge of installation would be a bonus
- Experience in a safety critical environment would be good
- Knowledge of completing PPMs
- Any electrical knowledge would be a bonus but not essential
Mechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Performing maintenance on machinery within the facility
- Help with repairs and diagnosing any faults with machinery
- Assisting with plant maintenance
- Help with installations of any new equipment or replacing faulty equipment
- Keeping up to date with any documentation and PPMs
- Emergency breakdown repairs
