This role is for an adept Process Safety Engineer who will help to ensure the consistent and safe operation of the businesses industrial manufacturing processes in Grimsby.

Description

As the Process Safety Engineer you will be tasked with the following;

  • Evaluate, design, and implement safety processes in our industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct COMAH reporting, complete LOPA assessments, and operate in accordance to DSEAR regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and process safety management audits.
  • Develop and present safety training programmes for employees.
  • Work closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to develop safety standards and protocols.
  • Ensure all safety equipment is in working order and meets industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Document and maintain records of safety procedures and incidents.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial safety technology and regulations.

Profile

A successful Process Safety Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge and understanding of process safety management systems.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to work well with teams across different departments.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting safety training programmes.
