Due to an increase in workload, our Grimsby based client is seeking to recruit a full time and permanent decorator to undertake routine decorating work in theor privately rented tenanted properties ranging from 1 bedroom flats to a 6 bedroom detached property. Some properties will be occupied with tenants and some will require decorating prior to new tenants moving in.
They are seeking a decorator experienced in all aspects of interior decorating including Painting (Emulsion & Gloss) and wallpapering which must be completed to the highest standards.
We are ideally seeking someone who is multi skilled and able to undertake other basic maintenance tasks when required and who is able to start as soon as possible.
* Undertaking routine and responsive decorating works to include emulsion, gloss and wallpaper with all associated preparations work involved.
* Ensure finish is to the highest possible standard and clean and tidy once finished.
* Be experienced in basic general maintenance and hanyman tasks to be able fill in when no decorating works needing to be done.
And other tasks within your capabilities.
A full clean driving licence is required. Basic tools would be required and any specialist tools would be considered at our clients' expense.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and your diary will be managed by the office. You will also be provided with a sign written van to undertake your work duties although you will be required to provide your own basic tools to be able to complete the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience or knowledge of working in domestic properties.
* Proactive approach to engaging with customers.
* An understanding of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Package:
* 30,000.00 per annum depending on experience.
* 28 days annual holiday including Bank Holidays with an additional day accrued per completed year of employment up to an additional 5 days.
* Enrolment on a company health scheme.
* Auto enrollment onto People's Pension with the offer of an Aviva Pension Scheme.
