STEVEDORE OPERATIVES

We have an exciting opportunity for a Stevedore operatives based in Hull, Goole and Flixborough.
Due to the variety of locations you must own transport.

Starting Wage of 12.80 - General Stevedore with CHIPS
13.54 for two skill sets / certifications (i.e. FLT certification and Shovel certification)
15.80 multi-skill rate including Crane operations.

The role will consist of managing the unloading and loading of cargo, supervising the stacking of cargo containers, ensuring loads are balanced to prevent slippage.
There will be an element of checking cargo, labelling, counting. This will also involve lifting and carrying, so an element of manual labouring.

CHIPS license, FLT Counterbalance or reach, Tug certification, Crane Usage, B3 licence, Shovel licence, Dock Hand knowledge or experience.
