The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the production equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Description
- Manages small projects, either capital or expense
- Resource for the maintenance supervisors regarding high level troubleshooting
- Plays an active role in developing maintenance budgets
- Analyses maintenance cost to find opportunities for improvement
- Performs engineering design calculations as needed for maintenance team
- Specialist resource to assist in the management of reactive maintenance repair issues
- Develops SOW for the Reliability and Projects teams to investigate and execute longer term remedies
- Assists the Maintenance Coordinator in improving the execution of scheduled maintenance tasks
- Skilled in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment
- Revise and create maintenance procedures
Profile
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation, preferably IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate
- Proven experience in an Industrial / Manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Strong team collaboration skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
