My client is seeking an Approved Electrician with experience in pumps, gearboxes, and pipework installations due to continued growth.
Candidates should have a time-served electrical apprenticeship and be qualified to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, with C&G 2391 or equivalent certification.
The role requires experience in commercial and industrial installations, ideally with client-facing experience, and the willingness to work away from home as needed.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential, along with a full UK driving licence for business use.

Approved Electrician

Due to continued growth my client has an opportunity for an Approved Electrician with experience working with pumps, gearboxes, and pipework installations.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

In summary your key areas of responsibility will be:-

Competent to work directly from drawings and scopes of work
Experienced in commercial and industrial installations ideally including, but not limited to, end user client facing experience. Water Industry experience would be beneficial but not essential
Willing to work away from home for periods (Project dependent)
Keen to fulfil customer’s targets, involving overtime when required

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes

Time served electrical apprenticeship
Experience of electrical installations
18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certification
C&G 2391 Qualified (or current equivalent)
Full UK driving licence as you will be entitled to a commercial van for business use
Good communication, both verbal and written
Able to work under own initiative, as well as within teams
Enthusiastic and knowledgeable in electrical
Testing and inspection to 18th Ed. BS7671 would be beneficial
Be able to demonstrate leadership approach to health, safety and environmental obligations
