Role: Recruitment & Employment Coordinator

Salary: £26,000

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs pw)

Location: Scunthorpe DN15 & Grimsby DN31 (must have a car to travel between Centres)

Are you passionate about helping people find meaningful employment? Were seeking a proactive Recruitment & Employment Coordinator to join our team! In this role, youll be the vital link between our Advisory team, customers, and Recruitment Managers. Youll coordinate job submissions, refine CVs and applications, set career goals, and conduct mock interviews to boost employment prospects.

What youll do

  • Coordinate submissions to vacancies by internal and external partners
  • Track and support submissions through to vacancies
  • Liaise with employers to schedule interviews and communicate these to customers successfully selected
  • Conduct pre-screening of all customers submitted for Recruitment Managers' vacancies and Pre-Employment Training courses to ensure that only candidates of the right calibre are selected for consideration
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of customers on your caseload to build a dynamic database of their career aspirations, licenses to practice, specific working hours, etc., allowing for efficient and timely submissions to vacancies
  • Coordinate all Centre vacancies and requirements for the Recruitment Managers and prepare candidates using pre-screening techniques e.g. mock interviews etc.

What youll need

  • Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a similar area e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration, or Management
  • Excellent knowledge of the local labour market
  • Proven experience of working closely with local, national and regional employers
  • Knowledge of Jobcentre Plus programmes and incentives for unemployed people
  • Full UK driving license as role requires travel.

Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
