 Site Finance Manager – Grimsby – Up to £65,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be working with a FMCG organisation that boasts impressive market share, who are looking for a dynamic, continuous improvement focused Site Finance Manager to join their passionate leadership team.You will report directly to the Regional Financial Controller and be responsible for a large production site, whilst working alongside other teams to provide reporting, guidance and insight. You will support the continuous improvement plan, improving data feeds and reporting meaningful data to various stakeholders.Package & Benefits:

 Site Finance Manager responsibilities will include:
  • Trusted partner of Plant Director, plant leadership team and Regional Financial Controller 
  • Lead weekly and monthly reporting for the site, including the preparation of and providing insight into the monthly Plant Continuous Improvement (CI) reports
  • Attend daily plant leadership meetings and monthly plant CI meetings for Operations and Finance
  • Reconciliation of actual gross margin in the P&L to gross margin in the Commercial Reporting Suite, investigating and explaining any differences
  • Managing and mentoring the Plant finance team
  • Ensuring accuracy in all operational reporting and analysis. Attend operational meetings for discussion of areas to improve, generate potential solutions and course of action
  • Manage inventory agenda, including leading weekly stock meetings to management movement and cash
  • Oversee reporting for yield, labour, wastage, cost and expenditure
  • Capex proposals, review and tracking against approved project plan
  • Identify and lead analysis and reporting of Research & Development claims for the Plant
  • Drive cost reduction plans with the wider plant leadership team
  • Drawing out management insights, challenging and supporting operational teams
Required Skills & Experience:
  • ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • You will need to have worked ideally in FMCG or manufacturing with high volume
  • Ability to explain financial information to non-finance managers in a way they understand
  • IT literate including ERP systems and strong experience on Excel (pivots, lookups)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Track record of delivery
