- Prepare monthly management accounts and corporate reporting information, pro-actively investigate variances and discrepancies, providing explanations where necessary
- Management and processing of product costing system
- Produce monthly reconciliations and reporting for Sales & Contribution, Stock, Variable costs and department costs
- Perform monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Develop reporting tools to provide reliable, timely and accurate cost information to the relevant department heads
- In conjunction with the appropriate departments, conduct regular (at least yearly) finished goods, engineering stores and pulp stock checks and produces reconciliations
- Deputise for the Head of Finance
- Support to site teams, including business cases for new products, business cases for capex projects, development and reporting of value creation initiatives
- Prepare ad-hoc financial, operational and commercial exercises/information/reports
- Sound track record in an operational / commercial finance role within a large fast paced business
- Friendly, energetic, professional individual with a passion for business partnering and adding value to a business
- IT literate including excel and SAP
- CIMA/ ACCA Part or Fully Qualified would be preferred Â
