What is the role of a Fork Lift Driver?
Working as a FLT driver across the Humber Ports within a team, Ports are a 24 hour operation so flexibility is essential.
- Quayside duties as required which may include Slinger Banksman
- Completing daily machinery checks
- Working as part of a team to ensure safety within all operations
What experience do you need to be a FLT Driver?
To be a successful FLT driver you must have a good understanding of Health and Safety as well as a Full UK Driving licence.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience operating a FLT preferred
- Previous experience as a Port Operative is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided
- Flexible approach to work
- Keen to learn new skills
- Experience within a Port environment is highly desirable however other industries will be considered such as Construction, Demolition and Agriculture
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable although full training will given.
