Role description depending on experience
Export Customs Clearances
NCTS Transit T-Forms
Using related software such as Destin8, Chief, CDS, NCTS, CNS, Descartes
Administration Tasks
Hours of work:
Monday Wednesday 0900-1700hrs
Thursday 0900-1800hrs (until finish can be earlier)
Friday 0900 1700hrs (until finish)
Oncall requirement:
Weekday - Monday to Thursday / 1 night in 5 separate allowance paid
Weekend Friday Evening and Saturday / 1 in 6 weekends
Person specification:
A confident and approachable person
A high level of organisation and attention to detail
Ideally 1-2 years' experience in customs entries (Will consider no experience)
Desirable - experience in Port Health/Licences/ETSF/ATA Carnets
Customer focussed with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
Good decision-making skills, ability to evaluate, prioritise and plan while responding to quickly changing workloads
A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team
IT literate
A willingness to learn other roles in the team to build on personal experience
Most importantly the candidate must have a passion to get the job done and get it done right.
The package offered is negotiable reflecting the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
