We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Grimsby for a Conversion Operative. Our client is global with over 5000 employees. The client provides creative packaging solutions to many big well-known brands.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company as a conversion operative. This role is offered on a Temp 2 Perm basis starting pay at £11.83ph. This role will require you to work on a continental shift, you will be given your shift pattern for the full year upon successfully gaining a position.

This role will be working a continental shift pattern and your full Rota for the year will be given to you if successful.

Your Time at Work
The main purpose of the role is to manufacture products to specification and quality standards through efficient operation of machinery and equipment.
Main Job accountabilities are.
- To be able to run a bimec slitting machine under operation
- To clearly follow work instruction documentation, to ensure production efficiencies are met
- To run machinery to achieve correct standard of product
- To complete machine safety start up checks and reports any faults or errors to management
- To deal with stoppage problems quickly and efficiently and seek advice or help where necessary
- To carry out spot quality checks at required intervals
- To work as part of a team
- Other duties as required; you may be asked to take on additional duties which may not be seen as your role.
