Head of Finance – Grimsby – £55,000 - £65,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be exclusively working alongside a dynamic, forward thinking, growing SME manufacturing business, based in Grimsby, who are looking for a Head of Finance to join their leadership team.Reporting directly to the Director of this dynamic, forward thinking, growing SME business. This is an exciting role for an energetic Head of Finance who wants to play an integral role in a business with ambitious growth ahead of them! Responsibilities:
  • Autonomous role supporting the Directors, being the business’s financial conscience and strategic thinker
  • Day to day management and development of the Finance team
  • Overseeing the production of the monthly management accounts, MI and board packs
  • Completing the weekly flash reports to give up-to-date insight
  • Working collaboratively with the management team and Directors
  • Review, develop and lead an accurate costing process, including NPD costing  
  • Cashflow management and forecasting
  • Managing invoice discounting facility and reporting requirements to the bank
  • Provide accurate analytical and financial reporting and identify and report opportunities
  • Responsible for year end and statutory accounts reporting
  • Ensuring strong financial controls and governance are in place
  • Lead projects around CI of accounting processes, automation, reporting and controls
  • Financial modelling for with business strategy, capital investments and expansion plans
  • Leading on inventory including stock takes, stock and wastage reporting
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Take a lead on company projects that require strategic financial insight
  • Assist with technical accounting queries raised within the business in a professional, commercially driven and accurate manner
Key requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
