Salary: £27,000.00 - £30,000 + benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30 - 4.30 or 8.30 - 5.30

Summary:
An experienced transport co-ordinator is required to manage route efficiency and driver availability in this service led environment. You will ensure that all administrative tasks associated with the dispatch office are completed and contribute towards improved efficiency and the reduction of operating costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage route efficiency and ensure effective use of vehicles and facilities
  • Manage driver availability and coverage in line with legislation
  • Input of pay and bonus information, update holiday rotas, timesheets and tachograph records
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained, supervising vehicle availability and ensuring that drivers have completed their checks



Experience:

  • Able to supervise teams remotely
  • Good administrative skills and an excellent communicator
  • Knowledge of vehicle and driver regulations for O'licence compliance
  • Able to support employee engagement
  • Assist with the continuous improvement in productivity and the quality of service provided
