Principal Resourcing are working alongside a secondary academy in North East Lincolnshire, who are seeking to recruit as part-time Food Technology Teacher for a role commencing in January 2025. This is a temporary role and will initially run for the spring term. The right candidate may be offereda permanent position.

About the role:

  • Teach the Food, Cookery and Nutrition curriculum across the age and ability range
  • Develop a stimulating learning environment that promotes the identity of the department and celebrates achievement of students
  • Plan, and deliver engaging learning activities that are differentiated to meet the needs of all students, and that stretch and challenge students to achieve their potential

The academywill also consider applications from individuals who work within the food industry with an understanding of education and young people with SEND.

Pre-requisites:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
