We are looking to recruit a permanent Warehouse Manager on a 12 month foxed term contract to lead the warehouse department.

Responsibility

Lead the on site warehousing and logistics function from a daily operational perspective ensuring at all times we are implementing standardised work and best practice methodology across all activities.

Job description

Warehouse call off and despatch

Managing logistics call-off activities, dispatch, shipping/delivering activities. Maintaining open communication channels with third Party Logistics providers in ensuring the daily activity, processes and operations are efficiently managed in the delivery of finished goods/customer deliveries and third party contractors are removing product away from sites in an efficient and timely manner.

Manage Health and Safety

Protect the health and safety of all warehousing employees through instituting and adherence to site safety culture.

Conduct risk assessment on all processes and tasks in the warehouse, implement countermeasures and mitigation plans to address identified risks.

Monitor and calculate team member performance and adherence to safety SOP

Stock Management

Management of packaging and raw material stock through effective use of SAP and standard work so all stocks are accurate

Standard Confirmation

Check that standards set within production area are adhered to through coaching and observing standard work. (Quality, Safety, Operational and People

Experience and skills

Education

MS Office - can operate and use Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Food Safety Level 2

SAP

IOSH Managing Safely

Knowledge

Continuous Improvement Tools and Techniques - 5S, Problem Solving, VSM

Numerical Ability to record, analyse and interpret data

Technical - HACCP / GMP

Warehouse Management Processes and Systems

Skill

Experience of leading a team in a FMCG organisation

Able to inspire and motivate a warehouse team

Able to coach and train others

Able to lead and inspire others to achieve challenging results
