Your new roleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across our production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in lean manufacturing and process optimisation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives to optimise production processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Conduct regular process audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilise lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) to drive process improvements.
  • Train and mentor staff on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement and sustain improvements.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a continuous improvement role within the food production industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) would be advantageous but not essential.
