Duties
- Design, install, and maintain refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty components as necessary, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop efficient solutions for refrigeration challenges.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and installations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members during projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Skills
- Minimum of NVQ2 AND F-GAS required with a strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on refrigeration systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics related to refrigeration equipment.
- CO2 Experience preferred ( not essential )
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to effectively maintain and build refrigeration units, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Competence in equipment repair, with a keen eye for detail.
