Position: Engineering Technical Trainer
Location: Grimsby
Salary: Up to 40,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Line manager and the Skills team members to develop training packages, course outlines, lesson plans, Q & A sets, maintaining all relevant documentation and liaison with external providers and associates, as required.
- Work with the relevant departments to establish the requirements for all levels of basic,
improvement and advanced training.
- Deliver training programs and accredited courses to approved training standards, achieving the best possible feedback score.
- Ensure all training material and resources are kept up-to-date and appropriate
standards/guidelines are adhered to.
- Attend regular departmental meetings to report on key activities and performance against set objectives.
- Produce data and management reports as required by the line manager and senior management team.
- Ensure best value for money when purchasing consumables or a service.

Essential requirements:
- Strong industry experience with an engineering background
- Previous training experience or a desire to become a trainer/assessor
- IT literate with experience of using Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Good planning and organisational abilities
- Understanding of the market, sector and region
- Understanding of training and development and relevant qualification systems
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
