  • Candidates must have at least 5 years of previous experience, hold a driving license, and possess a Highway Inspection Qualification or Streetworks Supervisors Accreditation.
  • The role requires knowledge of highway and civil engineering construction methods, as well as experience with IT software systems and compliance monitoring.
  • The position is Monday to Friday, paid weekly, and is offered on a PAYE basis.
  • Applicants should be punctual, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Streetworks Inspector based within Grimsby, DN31

Available shifts / Locations below:

  • Monday to Friday ( 5 Days a week)
  • PostcodeDN31 1HU
  • 14.57 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue.
  • Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.
  • This position is PAYE

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Must have at least 5 years previous experience
  • Driving licence required
  • Hold a Highway Inspection Qualification or a Streetworks Supervisors Accreditation and have at least 3 years experience in highway inspection or other highway related disciplines
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team.
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
  • A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English

Duties and experience required:

  • Knowledge and experience of Highway / Civil Engineering construction methods, highway maintenance treatments, materials and equipment.
  • Experience of using specialist IT software systems, databases and spreadsheet systems
  • Monitor the progress and quality of the works undertaken by statutory undertakers and others with powers to undertake work on the highway to ensure compliance with the requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act under the delegated powers given to Engie by the local authority.
