- Managing the full end to end monthly payroll process for all UK employees including start/end of year processes
- Overseeing the benefits for all UK staff including private healthcare, pension and other benefit programs
- Supporting across data management and reporting within the team
- Reviewing policy development and payroll management to ensure accurate processing and generation of payroll
- Actioning the administration of various group benefits
- Providing an input with regards to the technical aspects of payroll such as selection of software
- Responsible for complying with all legal requirements
- Overseeing the process of net pay deductions from computing, withholding and calculating, ensuring accuracy of submission across deductions including pensions, submission taxes etc.
- Ensuring all required reporting is submitted to HMRC including p11d for employee benefit in kind
- Entering and maintaining payroll journal entries to the general ledger and reconciliation of payroll
- Creates analytical reports for corporate and regional management
- Assisting external auditors by providing supporting documentation and information on internal processes required for audit
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working within the Payroll/ Benefits sphere
- Experience of processing end to end payroll and reporting using SAP HRP
- CIPP member accreditation and a CIPP foundation degree in Payroll Management
- Proven experience within a similar role and solid payroll background
- Sound knowledge and experience of the monthly end to end payroll process using SAP HRP
- Understanding of Benefit programmes
